Day 1 : Arrival Tezpur
On Arrival at Tezpur airport you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to Steemer Ghat. You can also arrive at Guwahati airport from where our representatives will take you to Steemer Ghat. You will cruise upstream to Kaziranga National Park.
Situated on the north bank of the Brahmaputra, Tezpur is a beautiful and multifaceted city seeped in mythology and history. The city abounds in archaeological sites, hills, lakes and gardens.

Day 2 : Vishnath
Cruise upstream enjoying the hills and tea gardens on the riverbank. Stop at Vishnath and take a tour of the temples.
Vishnath is closely related to the history of Assam as it is home to the Shiba temple of Ahoms - the once ruler of Assam. There are other historical temples to enjoy here as well.

Day 3 : Dhansiri Mukh
You will cruise further upstream stopping on the way at a local riverbank village. Enjoy watching Gangetic dolphins and reach Dhansiri Mukh in the evening.
Dhansiri Mukh is the confluence point of River Brahmaputra. Common birds and wild ducks are observed here. Surrounding land is used for grazing.

Day 4 : Kaziranga
This morning enjoy a jeep safari in Kaziranga's eastern range.
Kaziranga National Park and is the only natural habitat of the one horned rhinoceros in the entire world. Kaziranga's little-visited Eastern Range, with majestic woodlands and grasslands is simply breathtaking. Here one may even spot the rare Bengal Florica.

Day 5 : Indian Villages
Glorious Indian villages are in perfect harmony with nature. Witness the way of life in nature's abode. Stay on board overnight.
Day 6 : Majuli Island - the Asia's largest river island
Reach Majuli Island in the morning and visit the monastery at Kamalbari and the tribal museum at Auniati. Then cruise to Neamati Ghat.
Majuli Island, is Asia's largest river island. The pristine island houses Hindu monasteries famed for their dance-drama performances. Must visit places in Majuli are the monastery at Kamalbari and the tribal museum at Auniati. Stay on board overnight.
Day 7 : Sibsagar
You will cruise to Sibsagar to visit the temples. Then visit the Tocklai Tea research station.
Sibsagar was once the capital of the Kings of Assam. The kings were originally Shan but converted to Hinduism. Know all about the different processes of growing, picking and processing tea at the Tocklai Tea Research Station and examine the journey of a tea leaf from the garden to the cup. Stay on board overnight.
Day 8 : Departure Transfer
Your journey ends. You will be taken to Dibrugarh airport in the morning or alternatively to Jorhat airport to board a flight to you next destination. Assam Afloat Cruise ends.
